It sucks indeed, either dodore wing, horn, latex, hyppo leather hq /hurray oh wait you could get that within max 30mn ingame...
But at the 90 level Dodore Wing goes for about 25k on my server. Tawny Latex??? I was just hoping someone had come up with something better (even if extremely rare). If not, I guess I'm going back to quick ventures and more lucrative (yet lower level) Field Explorations.

You can get the Tiny Tapir minion from Hunter Rank XVI's, just like you can from XV's and XIV's. Same goes with the other Rank XVI's for the other classes (Fat Cat from Fisher, Littlefoot from Botanist, Mini Minecart from Miner). As far as i know, there is nothing new from Hunter Rank XVI that you can't get from the lower ranks. I'd like to say the rarer stuff like the minions should be A LOT more common from Rank XVI's as opposed to the lower ranks to justify the ridiculous requirements for XVI...but I have not noticed any especial increase in the "good stuff" from my experiences with Rank XVI ventures. Fisher Rank XVI can bring back Emperor Fish HQ x2, but that is the only new thing I've seen from XVI's. Hopefully 2.51 will add something to these to make them not completely pointless.
FSH has a bunch of new fish at the XVI level, I believe, as said before. BTN ventures generally give me HQ apricots, HQ leeks, and HQ shroud tea leaves, but I have no idea if the earlier ventures could do that too. I've obtained three Littlefoot minions from BTN XVI ventures in under a week, so maybe those have a higher chance of getting the minions, but that's a very small sample size. OTOH, I've only ever obtained one Fat Cat, and it was from an XV FSH venture. XVIs have yet to bring me one.
I'm expecting the new XVI-only items to actually be added in 2.51 or 2.55. It wouldn't be the first time they added such new items to the latest ventures at a later date (see the Fat Cat and Littlefoot minions).
