gotta read all the animus books

It has been discussed before in the lore forum and even at the fan fest. Plans are apparently in place and according to Koji-Fox the last thing was getting it signed off and implemented.

I do know about that actually. I just had the urge to bring it up again. I really want it. (Just as much as you guys want it)

What would it consist of specifically? I mean books obviously, but like books just about the lore or history? Would they include some fiction? Maybe they could have creative writing contests and put the winners stories in the library?

I guess the majority would consist of pure lore. I could imagine some fictional stories as well but I guess pure lore books take priority. Needles to say it's pretty likely that the library would get updated every now and then. Your idea is really good and would be a really good addition.

To be frank, given the quality of most fans' writing, I have no desire to see user submissions show up in in the game. I'd rather it be purely a lore thing if it happens.

In one of Ferne's more recent posts, he mentioned that something might someday be mentioned in some kind of tome that you might be able to read at a something something something. I think the lore-brary project might actually be moving forward.
