Is SE getting rid of Click and Buy?

I was going through the Playonline stuff, and found this interesting.

I don't know, but a'm I reading this right? :confused: If so I'll be very happy.

Hopefully this will carry over to FFXIV, I can't imagine why it wouldn't though as we've been asking for this a lot as well.

FFXI and FFXIV are both on the SE account which mean anything on there use the same billing. Which mean anything FFXI get's FFXIV would also :)

Sounds like they might be giving Click-buy the boot thankfully.

lol wouldnt put any money on it SE probably has some absurd contract w/ click n buy and backing out of it would probably cost them some absurd amount of money. Most likely there will be slightly more tailored click n buy options for players at SEs expense. The only reason SE is probably agreeing to compromise at all is they most likely lost a lot of FF11 subscribers in the past 2months. I know a dozen people that quit playing ff11 soon as the new billing system was announced and i honestly quit it after 8/9years of dedicated play because i didnt even like the previous options( verified by visa credit/debit card) I had changed banks and eventho my bank card had verify by visa it was still not supported and a lot of banks are the same way.

Both games use an SE account. It's the same system. Lots of people are using C&B just fine so there's no immediate need to get rid of it, it's just offering more options in fall.

Clicknbuy will probably be another option to pay with so yeaaaaah.
