Gil farmers

I cant go 30 seconds without receiving a tell from a random account about buying gil. I used to blacklist them but it seems they just reroll and spam again. Its become really annoying. I've silenced my tells now (which has already made me miss tells from real players...) but it still doesnt stop the spam or me hitting ctr+r and replying to a gil farmer instead of my friend. It has legit made my experience in the game suffer. Is there a away to blacklist their account? So ALL characters on said account wouldnt be able to /tell me. Or any other solution? Maybe I send you my blacklist you ban the accounts on them? :D I mean selling gil IS against the terms right? so like.... You should at least try to do something about it..

I am extremely annoyed by the agressive RMT on Goblin. Each morning when i log on i delete the top20 names on my blacklist. In the early afternoon i do it again. I get aprox. 50-60 tells a day, sometimes even more.

There are bots all over the place, leveling up or monopolizing monsters in Northern Thanalan, warping around, attacking the mobs from below the earth.

Yes, i could deactivate all tells or set my status to busy. But is that what SE really wants? Cause talking to friends that are not in your FC or LS is impossible. Which means somedays i never talk to anyone, cause its just not possible.

A friend of mine and me, we reported the same bots over and over again for weeks. Nothing ever happened so i get the feeling SE doesnt care. Bots do pay a monthly fee as well <.<

I would like an option in the configuration that allows /tell's only from characters above lvl 10 or characters that are friends. Other games do this as well and hell it worked wonders... Why not here?

I totally agree, and have been complaining about this for the past week with my buddies. I have been playing on Goblin since 2.0 launch and I can't remember a time where the whispers have been this bad.

The worst part about it, is if you try and report one of them, that process takes so long that you have already been spammed 5-6 more times. I blacklist one, and three more send me a tell. I turn tells off, and I don't get messages from friends that I no longer share LS with.

It's really bad right now ;-;
