I have two friends trying to access the server but cannot get in. They've tried logging in between 3-7am eastern time as that has been the usual time the server has been open. Has this changed?

I have two friends trying to access the server but cannot get in. They've tried logging in between 3-7am eastern time as that has been the usual time the server has been open. Has this changed?
Sadly it's been closed more often lately as there's been a higher traffic of players logging in and out.
A good time to make a character is 10-30 mins before or straight after maintenance. Before is best, as people don't usually log on just before it starts. :) Good luck.
