An Adventurer's Life Trophy Not Popping (PS4)

Steps: Complete 1000 levequests on two different characters. If you complete 600 on one character and 400 on another the trophy will not pop.

I wasn't 100% sure if this was a bug or not so I tried contacting support. They told me to submit a bug report on here. I have completed over 1000 levequests on my two characters combined and have yet to recieve the trophy.

I believe this is because PSN only checks your in-game achievement stats to find out if you have earned any achievements. I'm guessing this is done to make it possible to get achievements you earned while playing on PC.

Yeah that's what I thought, but I was able to get my 1000 craft trophies by crafting a thousand level 1 items. Which doesn't have an in-game achievement for.

There are achievements for crafting a certain number of level 1-10 recipes. Ergo: the game counts your level 1 recipe crafts for those.

Yeah but it only goes up to crafting 50 items. I guess it continues to count after you get that achievement. So if PSN checks the in game stats I have a total of 560 leves on one character and 480 on another which is more than enough for the 1000 leves trophy to pop.

I believe it only checks the stats for whatever character you are playing on at the moment. Basically: The only inforamtion that PSN stores about the achievements is if you have earned them, or not.

Alright so I guess it's not a bug and working as intended?

It's probably something that they could change, but it would be tricky to do without sacrificing the ability to earn trophies while playing on a different system.
