Cannot See Self or Current Quests on Large Map

I have only been playing for about a week and I used to rely heavily on the large map and being able to look around on it before I went anywhere. But now I can't even see myself on the map. It doesn't show shops, quests, aether crystals, or Choco Keeps. I can only see the lay of the land. Without these features the map is basically useless. The mini map still has these features, which is the only way I can still play without a lot of guessing. Why is this happening? It has been this way the last three time I have logged in. It started about 3 days ago. it was perfect before that.:mad::confused::mad:
