4. Get credit for FATE (8gil the first time 50gil the second time)
5. Don't get credit for Trial of the Braves Book of Skyearth I

Are you sure you had your relic equiped, and that you got Gold on the FATE?

Yes, I definitely had my relic equipped and I got credit for the FATE both times. The first time I wasn't sure if I had enough credit, but the second time I was there the whole time in cleric stance attacking it with my chocobo out. I'm trying it again with my equipment fully repaired (it was around 50% before) and a party before I give up but it hasn't spawned yet.

UPDATE:
I did get trial of the braves credit this third time with a dragoon and a warrior + 2 chocobos in my party. There was a WHM there who had also done the FATE before and not gotten credit that got credit this time.
