Can Arcanist please have a better pet health regenerating ability?

Sustain is okay, but when your pet hp dips into the red and your trying to get them to a good hp% before the next unavoidable aoe smackdown comes out, and just have them die on you is really annoying. Pets are a big part of your DPS/Healing output, and when they die, your hurting. Sustain only recovers 8% of your pets hp over 10 secs why? Please just make sustain heal about 15 or 20%, or make it where your pet gets a hp regenerating bubble shield that's basically adloquium.

If you're saying that Sustain only heals 8% of your pet's health total, then that's incorrect.

Sustain will restore 8% of your pet's health per tick, meaning that it restores up to 24% from three ticks per cast.

I have personally never had any trouble keeping my pet alive in any content, since they take reduced damage from AoEs and receive your healer's AoE heals, so I can't support this idea.

What if your healer doesn't need to use a aoe heal because of a in game mechanic. An example is keeper of the lake: on the last boss aoe's are flying everywhere and your pet take about a fair amount of damage from each one. That's Midgardsormr and he's dragons doing a bit of damage on your pet. Then Midgardsormr uses his one hit kill ability; everybody gets invincibility from the bubble shield, but your pet takes most of the damage which for a pet is alot plus one of Midgardsormr's dragons is doing their high damage aoe at the same time, so your pet is taking a large amount of damage from 2 different front's. If your healer isn't helping you heal your pet you can bet even with sustain they are going to die. I had this happen to me all the time.

Healers don't heal your pet because it doesn't appear in their party list. It's too much work for me to select your pet and get it healed up.
This could be fixed if others' pets were put in the party list...

For what it's worth, you CAN cast physical on your own pet. It's crappy, but it's another heal.

Fun thing is I do. I have a macro specially made to heal my pet. Without having to target my pet I physick then sustain, but its still way to weak. If your playing as a Smn your only going to heal about 400 hp, and your pet has about a total of 5k.

there should be a stance option where your pet just like stays directly next to you and follows your movement completely and in tandem
placing them to dodge things is cumbersome and ifrit is a dumbass and doesnt care about place

Do tell me how well your sustain works against the 1k DoT ticks your pet can have (not reduced at all) or how your pet doesn't die at all without extreme kind of controlling via "place" and "obey" and "steady" commands during shiva extreme (5 stacks of invurnability up + the 30 sec DoT) as a summoner, I'd like to have a way to "esuna" all kinds of DoTs off of my pet, because like someone stated earlier: " Healers don't heal your pet because it doesn't appear in their party list. It's too much work for me to select your pet and get it healed up.
This could be fixed if others' pets were put in the party list..."

I use the filters to heal other peoples pets, (L1 + X) it targets only pets/minions then switch back to others. I know how fustrating it is if your pet keeps dying.
I also always stoneskin them.
