Can't get certain characters to show up in chat

This may be stupid and/or simple, but for some reason, I can't get the "^" symbol to show up in my chat bar when I type it. It's shift+6, simple. But it won't show up.

It's a little annoying but not life changing, but if I can fix it I'd like to.

That's weird, when I do shift+6 for the "^" symbol in game it shows up for me O.o

Did you check your key bindings for the game? Might be bound to one of the macro slots?

I did. I cleared out those keybinds (the Shift+number ones) that were for hotbar switching. Still no dice.

I can get all of the other symbols !@#$%&*()_+ to show up but not the ^

I even reset to default and set my keyboard to the english one, still nothing.

Out of ideas.

Anyone else?
