LS: Because the iLvl (EX Progression / Farming)

Hey guys,

Just wanted to gauge interest here on the forum. I'm pretty sure I'm done with serious raiding, but I want to help the community by giving back my lengthy MMO experience.


The Goal / Objective
Improve everyone's skill levels from all walks of gaming. We help each other out completing content, as well as giving pointers on gear, gameplay, leveling methods, etc. Just an all around laidback and informative group of humble people.

There are no ranks in the linkshell, or leaders. I am more of a mediator and mentor. It's open ground.

I have no plans to do Coil or schedule statics, because that is not the current goal of the LS, but if we get enough player pool up to a level I feel comfortable, I may consider it.

I've been away for a year. I was pushing Coil Turn 1-4 back when it was "hard" (During 2013) and put together a FC with a group of seasoned WoW raiders. We all got burned out on doing Coil and raiding in general (We're getting old) and decided to have social lives outside of gaming.


Tanking & Leader Experience
I’ve been tanking and Paladin tanking in various games such as World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XI, and Final Fantasy XIV. I have extensive HNM camping from FFXI, raiding experience in WoW (Vanilla to Warlords of Draenor, sans Mists of Pandas), and carried it over to Final Fantasy XIV. I’ve been a leader of sorts for Linkshells / multiple guilds I’ve created through the games. I often strive to teach people who would like to learn and improve their gameplay from a 1:1 basis to small group experience.


Coaching & Linkshell
I love gaming and helping others out. I may not be the absolute best, or absolute theorycrafter, but I love helping people who have not reached content that I have seen and do things they never thought they could do.

I created the linkshell “Because the iLvl” (Inspired by Childish Gambino) based on the facade people have with gear equating skill. My goal is to remove all basis that you need good gear to be a skilled player, but rather utilizing what you have and maximizing your output as a player. Our goal is to promote good gameplay and help others out with collaborative gameplay efforts.
