Why not have Carboncoat/Carbontwine buyable for soldiery?

For 1800 soldiery or so to get a piece of one similiar to the mark logs? Or something?
That way people would actually do things outside of hunts.
Either that or make another way to get allied seals.

And no, I don't want things handed to me. I made an Excalibur, and easy as it was, it was a ton of work. I just think hunts(which are casual content, sorry to break it to you) should not be the only way to obtain theese. It's kind of silly.

Because SE want people wasting their time playing the game by making them into mindless zombie, long duration Zerkers.

All the changes to hunts have done is kill everything in duty finder, and make it impossible for people who don't use third party programs to do hunts. It wasn't really well thought out.

Given how fast I cap my Soldiery (since I'm farming ponies), I'd be up for this :)

Well, that is how the Hunt was designed and the way SE keeps giving Hunts the first dip in obtaining the high end item and the only viable way to get them until SE decides a certain time has passed and start to give other means to get them, certainly does not make the situation any brighter, not in the past, certainly not in the present and highly doubt there will be any better in the future.

Soldiery no. Poetics would make more sense. Poetics for the armor and its upgrade but only after the tome becomes uncapped not before. Otherwise the elites will complain about people being their ilvl without having beaten fcob

People can already get i130 from just doing hunts, and hunts are by no means hardcore content. The elite will still have their dreadwyrm.

It's already stupid enough that it is available via Hunts, making it available via Soldiery would just be pants on head level of stupidity.

People would still do hunts since it gives quite a lot of soldiery if done properly, they would just gear up even faster than now. Poetics seems like a better choice or add it to WoD, and the rest of the stuff to the weekly quest.

they just need more ways for seals to be viable..
