Server full

What the purpose is to recruit a friend but end up not being able to play on it cos server is full... -.-

Would it be a good idea since the server is kind full to keep it block. But if you want to invite a friend to server you can buy a server ticket on game for some GIL and get a password that you give to your friend and when check on the server its ask the password and accept to enter it

I know that long ago when i played FF11 you couldnt choose which server and to be able to be in the same server as a friend he had to buy a pass and i loved that idea. Should we have it too.

EDIT : ... P.S and its would be a GIL sink for RMT/BOT ... NO ??

Server full is not a good reason to not play the game. I'm sure there is always a server that is not full.

Probably because they want to play together. It sure would suck not being able to play with the person you recruited :/. However, not much can be done if the server to full.

im on Hyperion Since 1.0 so you cant tell why i dont really want to create New character or Transfert right. And my other brother(1.0 player too) and my wife on Hyperion ..And since my other brother start to play so my brother did "recruit new player" and recruited our brother who start playing. But server Full so kinda sad to have to keep touch on when they server will unblock.

Sadly, there is not much you can do about this. If I were you, I would have done a bit of research and see if there was space for you brother. When a server is full the only way to change that is by someone leaving the server entirely or SE upgrading their servers ( that won't happen unless there is a Reason for SE to do that ( a rise in population so much that "every server" needs an upgrade.)

Only thing you can do is keep on trying or bite the bullet and make a new character on a server you can play with ya bro.

I believe servers are in the same cluster, there is no bandwidth limitation etc. The real reason (guess) to balance servers population, some servers are really empty like Mateus server back in Sept 2014, it was almost dead on peak time. Now it is very populated. It will open again soon once all the servers population are equalized.

The login queue, prevent connection flood, putting load on the login/auth module of the server. Just 2 cents...

It should be noted that server isn't actually full so much as character creation is just not allowed at the time of day he is trying to create a character. Have him try during peak downtime hours (usually early in the morning or during school/work hours).

This. I play on Leviathan and recruited two friends - they had to create their characters in the early morning (EST); any other time and character creation was locked.
