R35-49 groups for Grid R40 leves (Great SP)

I'm starting to come across people that have yet to experiment with the new leve system. Let me tell you, it is awesome and lets you include a wide range of players. It is a fantastic alternative to grinding as you actually go places and have different goals.

the basic:
SP is best in Grid, then LL then UD.
The majority of SP now comes at the end of the leve
The closer you are to optimal level (or if you are above) the better your end bonus will be up to a specific point. (ie if you are 35 you will get less at the end of a leve than a 42)
Other players do NOT effect your end of leve bonus
Only use GA when you activate a leve, or perform a link
The bonus at the end of other peoples leves is small but adds up fast

So a leve reset has happened and you and your friends have 2 hours to play or less. Get some great sp with leves and do behest when it is up. This is done by getting together a group of players 35-49 and grabbing 6 R40 leves in Grid. (the last two you can decide what to do with: factions, R30s for more sp, gathering, etc)

I'll give a personal example. in ~1 hour and 30 minutes, a group I was in (36 con 35 con 41 thm and 41 pug) did 6 R40s(per person), 2 R30s(per person), and behest, and made around 80K sp. Then we were free to grind for additional SP or do whatever until the next reset.

With a full group you should easily be able to 5star these, especially with a well rounded party. The higher the stars the better the sp.

One last example: I start a R40 leve at a grid location, I am R45, use GA, and 5 star. If completed i will get all the small sp during fights and get a whopping ~7500 sp at the end. that x 6 is amazing, and doing other peoples runs gives you around 800-1000 bonus at the end

How many links do you usually have? Have you figured out what is the max links, just asking.

Max link is 7, but each link seems on only effect the SP bonus at the end and not by much... somewhere between 2-4%.

You get more total SP by doing everyones individually but it will take sooo much longer.

We had a group of 4 L37s and did Limsa 40s yesterday and got ~55k or so from full set 6 from everyone able to do 3-4 stars but it might have taken us closer to 2 hours, but you are rolling 2 41s it would explain even on 5s why you get done so fast compared to us.

I assume when we reach the 41 range we'll be able to handle 5s in limsa and complete in that amount of time as well.

Also, if its like L30s, the SP jumps at 40 and stays at that spot. So our 55k at L37 may jump to 80k when we hit 40 getting the higher end bonus plus doing the last star difficulties. I think all 3 cities will end up having the same amount of total SP gained per night if you do them in a group like that... it really comes down to how fast you can manage time ^^;

Doing the R30 leves(solo) in LL at 5-star (hardest mobs mostly R42~) as R34 yields around 3k with no Aspect (4.2 - 4.9k, i didn't get speed bonus every time, almost did though, & difficulty bonus).
Behest is recommended R35, highest i got was 4.9K in Cassiopeia Hollow solo. It was insanely easy too.
Bloodshore(R20) leves no longer give much SP, only 700-900~(down from 2K~) now, but the R30's give alot more.

Starting from only a few 100 into R34, i was able to get around 40k~SP (53K for total level) for all 8 leves this reset.

Amal'jaa at Broken Water is good grinding too if you are in the mood for it (around 300-350~ in a group of 4-5, kills are fast). This is the fastest place i've leveled on MRD so far (spent only a few hrs to go from R32-34), i have yet to try the raptors in LL (Passing by, there are tons of them though).
I'm trying not to grind much since we'll have EXP chains & chests very soon.

I keep hearing that Gridania leves are the best (7K from one of the R40 ones), but i'd like to try them out soon.

Yea when you hit 41 you will be able to go through them faster and the end of leve bonus will be higher since you will be an appropriate level.

We usually do them with anywhere from 0-2 links, since they're random from npc. I can't say that I've seen links make much of an sp difference at all, aside from saving time. :(

Doing behest in between is also a great idea, if you do two behests during leves its like everyone had a free leve with no GA
