Interesting choice to put it in VET and not in the Golden Saucer ^^

Here are my footnotes, note I don't speak JP so these are notes based on visual queues onry.

2.51 official release date is February 24th

G.A.T.E (Gold saucer Active Time Event) Like a instanced game where you dodge thing slike bombs on a mini race track (on foot) or dodge FUUUGAAAs

Mini games in golden saucer:

monster toss (basketball thing from FFVII)
moogles paw (UFO catcher)
Cuff a Cur (punching greg one)
Crystal tower striker (strength tester)

They mostly have a 'hit the sweet spot' on the bar type of UI to the games

Jumbo Cactpot (lottery): Can only buy 1 ticket/week

Mini Cactpot: Can only buy 1 ticket/day

Chocobo race:
Chocobos earn exp by racing and lvling up on this exp.
Much like FFXI you can breed your chocobo and inherit abilities. Your chocobo also must retire after a time but can continue to be bred.
I didn't get to listen long (2 secs) but seems like some nice remastered music from previous games


Prizes from GS:
Turtle mount
Fenrir mount
NPC clothign liek the Ul'dah elite set and the GS bunny set

Triple triad: you get 80 cards to start with. ( i didnt get to see this part because i could not find a bloody link)

All i know from previous info is that your racing 'Bo is different then your companion and thus are leveled separately.
It seems to indicate that a racing chocobo is the Breeding Chocobo and the companion does not enter the GS or breed.

But that second line is speculation based on the information <3

Okay I kid, this is amusing fanservice. Even if it's his stupid Advent Children outfit and not his 'proper' SOLDIER costume. Am I wrong though to suspect that this is actually secret cross-marketing with another re-release of Advent Children on the horizon?

Still, I'm upset there is no Aeris costume for females. Phooey. ><

I'm cool with this. Hopefully everyone will gets to wear their favorite final fantasy characters outfits.
