Guess that Omega Weapon Boss Fight!

So getting close to 2.5 Part 2 and 3.0 let play a guessing game on when Omega weapon will appear in FF14ARR as a boss.

So can you guess when Omega Weapon will make a physical appearance as a boss?

I'm guessing sometime in 3.0, depending on what our goal is at certain part of the storyline since Ishgard is only Arc 1 of 3.0 and what plot twists that happen, maybe the Final boss of 3.0.

Unless they slap him in as the Mid-boss for the midpoint of 3.0 Main Scenario :P

I'm guessing the Omega fight is already in the game. I'm at least pretty sure the Interceptor Node in the Cartenau Flats is a part of Omega.

I've been wondering that too. Every 2.X patch had a ton of Uldah related questlines, often diluting what was supposed to be the focus of the patch (ramuh and shiva in particular). The recurring villain through it all was that guy that wanted Omega Weapon. I know "before the fall" is supposed to refer to Ishgarde, but the Uldah storyline is still far from over. Didn't 2.4 end with the Sultana admitting her plan to make Uldah a democracy, and end hundreds of years of rule?

We NEED 2.5 to end with dragons and Ishgarde warring, but still strange that this massive change to Uldah is left pending. Yet if they mesh the storylines into one patch, it will lessen the impact of both events.

It's possible this plot arc will extend into Heavensward's storyline.

I actually saw those thing more as a defense system made to prevent people from reaching Omega.

Ya it been a while since they last mentioned Omega. They have set the stage for Omega's arrival in 2.2 yet after that point no word on the progress of the excavation for Omega.

Well my best guess is that the Ul'dah story may be Arc 2 of 3.0 Main Scenario after Arc 1. Something big is going to happen for Ul'dah in 2.5 Part 2 that may leave the story open to part of our goal in 3.0 since half of Part 2 section focused on how the Scions will be fighting Teledji's goons as he starts a Coup d'etat to overthrow Nanamo before she can turn Ul'dah into a Republic.

My best guess is that we fail to stop the Coup and with all the City-state leaders, Minfilia, and our Ishgard allies there Teledji may take them hostage so he can progress his plan to obtain Omega and conquer all of Eorzea until we free them in 3.0 while the Warrior of Light is forced to flee on his or her own and the other Scions go MIA until 3.0 Main Scenario.

my guess is every 30% he will use Wave cannon a big AOE on everyone can be avoided hiding behind 1 of the 4 destroyable rocks (think ampador hard) he can brake the rocks so positioning will be a thing :D

in the final 30% he will hit omega mode and do Warning less straight line rushes and also multi fire flame throws at the tanks while rockets at everyone else, but in this mode he will also take more damge (think the ff13-2 omega fight but just more upscaled and awesome :D)
