How to make good gil?

Hello everyone!

Anyone know good ways to make gil in this game? Leves arent all that and you have to wait a while before they reset. Crystals and shards dont sell the way they used to either :\

So what are some good ways to make gil in this game? What are some of the ways you guys do it?

Please NORMAL answers only -.- I dont need to hear "get a whole slave army of lalas to mine for you" <-wack! :)

farm mobs
sell drops

buy underpriced logs in wards
vendor them

Leves still give a good amount of gil (I think like 2k or 5k for R20 leves?)
Leathers and pelts vend for a quite a bit (like 300 gil for a Marmot Pelt I think)
Repairing items can make you like 1 or 2k per repair, but most people just offer the amount of gil the Dark Matter costs or the Dark Matter. A lot of people offer less, too :[

Could always level Leatherworker.
From a single dodo skin (not including shard costs) you can get about 7.5k worth of dodo skin vamps if you NPC them. (rank 18 synth so can even use it to level from rank 13 or so)

Including shard costs you could probably make about 5k~ profit from each one if you sell the vamps to an NPC.
Just make sure you don't botch any :P
I'd guess you'd make more gil this way as you do higher rank vamps as well.

I also have tried what TheVedis said buying stuff I KNOW I could sell for atleast double myself and that worked for a while :D

A great market for money is selling arrows because it's always in demand so if you invest some time in carpenter and mass produce arrows the profits can be epic =O!

Also Falcus buy dodo skin, you mean level up leatherworker, make the dodo skins and sell them to the npcs? Is there a specific one I should be selling them to, or do they all give the same prices? o.o

They give the same prices. It only really works for dodoskin vamps tho, after that getting leather isnt as easy/cheap as it is with dodo~

Miner rank 20 or so and sell your silver it sells well and is easy to mine at tranquil. Botany npc ur logs you make 300-1k gil per log depending what you get. Ive been cranking fisher and made about 13m from 18 to 39 minus gear costs as i ranked
