Fashionable Footwear

I'm not sure that this is the place to share this post but I am hoping it is.

I want to post here in the hopes that I am not the only one who is displeased with her shoe collection. I have played as both female highlander and, more recently, femroe. While I can wear everything from fancy ballroom dresses, to armor bordering on lingerie; It seems my footwear is limited to 3 options: sandals, "smart shoes", and astronaut boots.

I would not be caught dead wearing any of the shoes I have as options now. The sandals are ok but not appropriate for most events. The "smart shoes" are gauche flats that a frumpy librarian would wear, and any kind of "armored" footwear looks like I have 3 foot thick cankles (ESP on roe). What does a girl gotta do to get a killer pair of stillettos? What about Dorothy's ruby heels? Cinderella's glass slipper?

What i would REALLY like is a nice pair of flattering, calve hugging, leather boots with a high-heel (i have many nicknames for these boots but they aren't ones I can post here). While some people might argue that these would not be appropriate for battle, my hempen camise isn't exactly chainmail and is quite a bit more suggestive than giving me a sexy pair of boots.

I to, would love some heels. Shiva gets some! Why can't we!?

OMG YES!!! And you can tell how good those heels are for girlfriend's glutes!

I'm with you on this. I wish we had more heels to choose from.

But not like the "heels" we have now. A 1" flat heel is what you'd have on men's dress shoes D: The "Mary Janes" aren't doin it.

I think it's just that it would take too much modifications to the character models they're already using to add high heeled shoes to the game at this stage - even though I too would love to see some nice high heeled boots! :D

Oh what the hell, please SE, take note of this! Give us some nice heeled shoes! :D

Unfortunately the animation system doesn't seem capable of changing our characters' heights. Obviously thick clogs like the Valentione Pattens don't actually change the height of your character - rather they just make the lower leg shorter. The BLM pvp hooves drastically "shorten" the calves in exchange for the illusion of tiptoes. How stumpy do you want to make your characters' legs appear in order to give them 4" heels?

Shiva's heels are moot because she's a custom model with custom animations.

The Bard's sandals look to have about a 2" lift so heels of that height ARE possible.

The malestrom has some decent looking black boots but they are flat.

Well, they don't necessarily have to have a 4" heel, but just a little bit of lift would be nice. There are so many otherwise nice looking footwear in this game except that they're just completely flat on the bottom. I understand heeled foot gear won't adjust the character's height, so I think too high and it would just look odd, but I'm sure there's a middle ground they could work with.

I kinda think the high heels gonna be like BLM's shoes pvp gear
