I've finished my zodiac quest and now have a lot of 2-star crafting materials on me. How should I go about HQing them for my crafting books? I have all crafting to 50 and can craft all of the materials. (347 craftsmanship and 312 control.) Please help!
Well i'm no pro crafter but what i did to get my crafter on a roll from decently melded i55 was to 1st get the materials for the master 1 ( 45 of philo matts + some secondary easy to make item ) then get some crafter to hq 5 of them ( i.e 5 hq vanya silk )
Then i turned it in and began to craft fhe silver brocades. They were pretty easy to hq due to being able to use 2 hq twinthreads and an hq silver ignot = around 50% hq. I crafted enough to turn in for the artisan set which allowed me to gear all my crafters decently without melding. Plan to upgrade to hq artisan when i have the matts/ gil.
So it all depends on what kind of resources you have and gil. As melding ur af sets will make u slightly better than the turn in set but will require a lot of gil/ materia.
Also i think it'll help if u post ur rotation.
Oh and i remember there r now HQ versions of philo matts.
