Need roll in CT restricted or not?

I ran a LoA yesterday for the weekly and needed on the royal robe as whm and got it. Later the crown popped and my need option was greyed out so I greeded on it. Today I farmed LoA again for light and whatnot and saw the only mnk in our party needing on the fuma feet, which he got, and then later he needed again on the fuma eyepatch and got that too.
It's the first time I ever saw the need option greyed out unless I had the piece already, and was surprised. Is this a bug? Or is the need option restricted somehow? How come I couldn't need twice in the same run but the mnk could?

Uh, aren't the feet and head pieces separate things? CT doesn't have weekly restrictions so you can roll for everything.

Only WoD has a weekly loot lockout. Most likely it wasn't the healers crown you saw

This. I'd guess that you saw the Crown of Light(Tank Gear) instead of the Royal Crown(Healer Gear).

Nope, it was definetly the Royal one, I checked 3 times in case my game didn't refresh correctly or precisely I was confused with the pld crown. I know about the lockout in WoD, it's more about why I couldn't need when I was on the job, I didn't have that item already and the item was for my job.
So I guess it's a bug then...
