Stuck in stalled combat at Treespeak.

Steps:
Scenario: During Levequest "A Toad's Taste" and also having the "Last Respects" quest active.
1. Encountered a Lemur in Treespeak - engaged it and begun combat (wanted to retrieve a quest item relevant to Last Respects as positioning of the lemur was convenient). KO'd, returned and then re-engaged while under weakness.
2. At some point, started receiving "This action cannot be performed" messages for all actions. -> KO'd by same lemur again; Returned and received brink of death status.
3. Approached to near the Lemur. TP has not depleted since KO'd by the Lemur for the 2nd time. Still under Brink of Death Status. Began casting Protect. Casting bar fills, but spell is not case.
-> Attempts to cancel the spell or cast a different spell result is "Please wait a moment and try again." response.
-> Attempts to return to passive mode result in a "You are already casting." response.
-> Attempts to Return or Log Out result in a "That command can only be performed in passive mode." response.
-> Server communication icon remains active and showing data transmission at usual levels.
-> Character is stuck in the conjurer's casting animation.
-> Brink of Death Status lapses, doubling maximum HP/MP, but no changes in current HP/MP/TP occur.
5. Targeted a Treasure Chest at (21,15). This resulted in returning to passive mode and opening the chest, obtaining the loot.
-> Still cannot select a spell to cast with "Please wait a moment and try again." response.
-> Attempt to enter active mode results in a "You are already casting." response.
-> Options of returning or logging out now available.
-> TP remains and does not deplete. HP/MP start regenerating.
6. Time on levequest lapses and levequest failed. Difficulties in actions and capabilities do not change.
7. Was only able to resolve the issue by logging out and logging back in again.

This has happened to me too while doing the bomb leve at Cedarwood on my rank 36 CON. Would always get stuck in casting animation, tried to die several times and as soon as I initiated a spell I would get stuck.

Solved this by running out of range of the leve so it was automatically abandoned. Outside of the leve all commands worked as intended.
