How do you view your retainers log?

When you send your retainer out for a quick venture, I recall seeing a message someplace that said something like either:

"With better gear your retainer could gather more valuable treasure"

or

"Your retainers gear is sufficient for acquiring rare items"

However, for the life of me, I have searched everywhere through all of the retainer menus, and I can't seem to figure out where I saw this message. If anyone could tell me where to look, I would be most grateful.

It appears in the chatbox after you complete a venture.
