My ps4 version of FFXIV:ARR has re downloaded its updates and is preparing first time setup again, then will begin to update from scratch.
Is there a fix for this or a reason as to why this is happening?

I just ran into this myself. I got kicked off of PSN and then when I restarted my PS4 and tried to log in it started to update everything from scratch. Did all my updates/patches get deleted or something?
