Cannot Buy Self-Preservation - Gladiator

I have well over 8000 guild marks, am rank 30, and it wont let me buy the trait. Anyone know why?

One the comments, on the link you gave, lists that the GLD rank 20 quest is a prerequisite.

Besides that, no clue.

i cant get the quest, its nowhere inside the gladiator guild. The skill is just yellowed out for me. i already bought one of the other ones but it wont let me buy this one.

Alright, I don't know anything about GLD's but I looked around and it seems that the main story quest "Fade to White" is needed to be done first.

You have to do the prerequisite quest first. If the quest isnt available to you for some reason that is the actul issue here. chances are you need to equip a sword and go pick the quest up.

you need to be at a certain point in the Fade to White Quest before you can advance further as the Power of Echo is required

according to your lodestone history you have not completed All Bark and No Bite, nor Unalienable Rights. these are two gladiator class quests that must be completed in order to unlock the ability to buy certain items from the guild store.

its the same with every other class as well, when you hit 20,30,36 bebop back to the guild and run the avalible quests. your pocket will thank you.

You were already told why twice now. You have to do the story mission Fade to White first. This makes the third time someone has told you this, in this thread.

no shit, but he told me that after people had already told me that, so i was telling him. Derp. Im already on the questline in limsa and i cant accept the quest for uldah, can i just do the questline in limsa or do i have to finish it and go to uldah and do that all over?

all this shit is really stupid just to buy a guild item, why should i have to do all these pre reqs when i have marks..
