2.5 And Beyond Fishing

I do not see very many recent posts about fishing for profit so I was wondering since the last few patches has fishing become profitable? I can male money as I have Miner at 50 and GSM at 50 but I love fishing and I am hoping I can have the added benefit of making some profit in the process. Deciding to give desynthesis a break on GSM I am at 75 and it's a crawl. Any suggestions much appreciated

ive been working on fishin achievements n make atleast 200-300k after a few hours fishing lol

Fishing is decently profitable if you pay attention to what's in demand like the fish for the level 45 levequests.

this.. spend a couple hours catching HQ level quest fishies n u will be rolling in gil in no time... i only finished the fish 1000 times in level 50 thanalan area sold about 8 titanic sawfish for 150k each even old fish still bring in a nice chunk of gil xD

I been making a nice amount of gil with fishing - fishing fish used for quests/crafting/desynthing

desynthing certain fish has its value too. People love them bikinis.
