PS4 error [20512][20496]

I attempted to log on this evening and as I attempted to download the new patch, at 47mb it closes out and gives me an error code [20512][20496]. I have yet to see anyone online with this code and a fix for it. I've restarted my ps4 multiple times and no change has occurred.

I am having the same issue. I'm at Atsugi Japan. I don't know if it is the ISP, but I have reset my router, turned off the ps4, turned off and on the Internet, gone wireless and wired, and still nothing to fix it.

So I talked to our ISP (I am on Atsugi as well). There's nothing wrong they can see on their end. I'm going to try the only thing left. Deleting the game and re-downloading it. If that doesn't work idk where to go from there except staying away from the game until square posts a fix.

So,after all of the things I can do including making sure my ISP was OK, restarting my ps4, uninstalling the game and re-downloading the game; It still will not download the patch and I get the same error. I have emailed Sony through PSN and I will be emailing Square-Enix as well but as of now I cannot play the game nor get through this patch. I recommend all owners of the PS4 version of the game write them back as well. Something is wrong on either the Sony, Square-Sony or Square-Enix's side with this patch and until there has been even a post or recognization of the issue on a Paid for service I don't recommend paying for the game or subscription fee.

What type of NAT type do you get when you do a internet test connection? I am getting a type 3, which it says certain game features will be restricted. I had to look it up in the user guide. If that's thecase it could be certain firewalls or like I said the ISP. Unfortunately I'm stuck on base so idk what ISP it has, but from other threads I can only hope when I get out in town with a different ISP it should work.

Still can't download the patch. There are no solutions that are being brought up here or on the net when I search other then our posts. I just wanna play and not get left behind. Square dev please fix this or at least tell me what these error codes mean and how they can fix it on my end.

-Wired connection.
-Placed in DMZ (of router)
-Removed and reinstalled game
-Downloaded (vice disc) game and reinstalled.
-Used two different network set-ups, multiple DNS choices...

I have successfully downloaded the patch (via re-install) one my computer, but currently cannon, for the life of me, get it to download/update on this PS4.

You are now rivaling Ubisoft on your customer service/tech support....at least tell us you are working on this, or something...

I am also having this error on PS3, on the Adamantoise server for USA.
I have been trying to update to patch 2.5 since Tuesday, and this has been my result every time. The amount of megabites it downloads up to varies every time it happens, so I can't give a consistent response for that.
My PS3 is as recently updated as can be, I have turned it off and back on again (because I've been trying this every day). I have not tried uninstalling>reinstalling the game yet, but apparently that hasn't helped anyone else, either....

How do I fix this? :c

I tried everything TripleD has done and I too cannot download the patch. It still stops at 47MB. The only thing I can think of is to try and get another ISP, but that will be awhile for me. I feel like the NAT type 3 is the issue but again the only way to change that is with a new ISP.

Well I don't recommend uninstalling the game then reinstalling it. I am now getting the same error code but for the past update or patch back in Oct. and again it cuts out at 47 MB. I gave my ps4 a static ip and put it on the DMZ for the router to try and get rid of the NAT type 3. I don't know if it worked or if that's the problem, but I still cannot download the updates. Still no solution or response from a DEV or anyone who knows or can help fix this.
