Mannequins - Any ideas about their implementation ?

More than a year ago mannequins were told to be implemented after the 2.2.

A great 2.5 is now live, with a lot of stuff, and even more is coming with Golden Saucer casino. I greatly appreciate that.

But now my retainers are really, really, really full. And I had to sell a lot of pieces to the GC NPC, even some i liked. I was enjoying the idea of displaying all the best armors I managed to gather with all efforts.

Now, I think they put this idea in the bean, they don't event talk about it anymore... We also know the team responsible for these is working on the Casino, and other stuff... But please... Tell us if you still are on the work, and if yes, when will we be able to see them in the game ?

I also remember them mentioning this back before housing released and would love to know if this is still planned for release at some point...

Some means of displaying equipment that we've collected is a much needed feature in my opinion. It's one thing placing some standardised furnishings that you crafted or bought, but quite another to show off a set of gear that you spent months farming for.

If they'll still implement this, I'm curious to the how. I remember in FFXI it was a royal pain in the bum to get this done.

I remember to read also that they do not want to implement racks for weapons, too bad :/ . Because, they said, poeple will not remember where they stored their stuff etc. Plus, they were in need to allocate more storage for the number of fields and houses their priority, so number of items for housing etc will wait. I think we'll have to wait the oppening of the new EU servers with the release of Havensward. But il will be so damn cool if we could display armors and weaps just like in Skyrim.
