Why just Godbert? There's a pretty nifty culinarian in the family as well, it seems.
Other than that, yes, I would like to see some more side-quests, crafting or no, with the elder members of the Manderville clan.
Totally agree manderville crafting power!!!!! :D
Hope he'll replace Sera as GSM Guildmaster =P
I have wondered if the level 50+ class quests for Disciplines of the Hand in Heavensward will involve characters like Godbert, Gerolt, and Jalzahn given their supposed mastery in their trades.
How about a weekly cooking quest where you craft but it's done cinematic style (you still have to craft normally) in a cooking tv show fashion in front of a 'live' npc audience at something like mih khetto amphitheater. A certain npc will be the star of the show and you're just assisting that person.
Call it... the ___yan can cook show.
So... let's see what I've got here now that you mentioned this:
Gerolt, the Furnace of Rhalgr; Godbert, the Goldguard of Byregot; Julyan, the Mistress of Thal's Kitchen; Jalzahn, the Mistkeeper of Thaliak....
I can't think of a title to give to Mutamix, but I'd imagine it'd have "Meldmaester" in it somewhere. The above four, though - that's more than enough to forge the Four Craftsmen of Light (five, though, if you lump Mutamix in with them).
godbert's wife is a goddess reborn mortal.
