Not sure if is one "bug" with my graphic card or just a global issue. On Cerberus battle (on World of Darkness duty) i can see the "invisible polygons" supposed to link the armour pieces protecting Cerberus:

That's not a visual bug. Those are actual effects on Cerberus' armor.
I see.... i watched the video from 2.5 trailer and yep, i can see those lines now...
Kinda lazy design, huh? is pretty obvious those are invisible polygons...
Another thing I noticed that looks like lazy design is the Darkness Clouds during the end boss of WoD are fixed-point-of-view 2D models rather than an actual 3D model. After I noticed that, I started seeing these lazy 2D fixed-point-of-view models everywhere in the game. I really only noticed this because I was watching my boyfriend play his account and didn't have to focus on playing/dodging AoE etc.
I hope SE will stop cutting corners like this. FFXIV has potential to be so much more detailed.
