Curious if anyone else has this issue.
I have 2 GTX 970's in SLI and was running fine at 144 FPS (I have a Gsync Monitor with 144 Hz) in everywhere except Mor Dhona and other cities, naturally due to the population there before the patch.
I log in today and the loading screen and login screen is still at 144 FPS. As soon as I load it drops like a rock.
In the Goblet where I was getting 120 I am getting 30 fps. Gridania 30 Fps, ELN, 50 FPS, Mor Dohna 15 fps.
I tried adjusting all the settings and even resetting to default, no change. Even on lower resolution it appears to be cutting it in 1/4 as if that limit frame rate setting is stuck on. I have it set to not limit the framerate since that is required for Gsync.
Any help here would be appreciated as the game at times is unplayable.

Drivers may need updating? Sometimes using one card is more stable then using two? Throwing things out there though.

Drivers are fine, up to date, this is all the SAME as it was yesterday.
The only thing different is FFXIV.
I am looking at these settings:
Refreshrate
Fps
FPSInActive
to see if any of them might be an issue. -

Fixed it the game was not able to edit the config file for some reason. Backed it up, deleted the old, restored with correct permissions and it works.

I've had this issue since the patch too. As soon as I logged in, I got 2-10 fps at best in a house while doing nothing. After doing all the checks I could possibly think of (including a nice vacuuming..just in case), what seemed to work for me was just to re-log until magically the game started properly.
Will try the thing with the config file, cuz this happened 3 times now (basically whenever I log in for the 1st time in a day). Thought the maintenance yesterday would fix it, but no. -
