Zodiac Quest Dungeon Items

Do you need to be on the class you are currently working on? IE - if im working on black mage zodiac, do i need to complete the dungeons as a blackmage to get a chance at the item, or could i go as a healer?

In answer to your question: no, you don't need to be on that job or using the relic. You can do the entire Zodiac stage of the weapon on any job you choose. The item drops to your inventory on the load screen as you exit the dungeon via the exit portal.
