so as the days roll on to the next update and the expansion and the relics weapon upgrades marching forward. I have been struggling for months to get the novus. I saved up materia while i gathered alexandrites, and then began melding. and did more spirit bonding. and bonding and bonding. i'm now 6 infusions away from finishing and it is driving me insane. I don't have billions of gil, and i struggle between giving my weapon a 3rd stat or trying to get more savage aims and mights (3 each) to finish the final infusions. if i could just convert and get nothing but 4s this wouldn't be so bad. but spirit bonding 10 sets and getting only 1 aim or might is driving me mad.
Id like to ask for the opinion of others about this.
I haven't seen a single summoner next or novus on diablos. if anyone does, would they mind showing me ir more donuts? i mean mor dhona.

Dude, you can replace the crappy stats, if you don't have the money right now you can get some accuracy and switch it later for det/crit, you would only need the alexandrites to replace it and the new materia, you wouldn't need to start over, this means that you can start soulglazing your weapon while working on getting the alex/materia to swap the desired stat later.

I have a smn Nexus and it didn't cost me too awfully much. Basically I capped crit since I just had the t4 crits and by some sheer stroke of luck didn't break a single one. After that I added det and a little acc to save some gils on det t4 materia which are by far the most expensive. So in the end I had crit +44 det +26 acc +5. IMO if you want just to be done, fill those remaining slots with acc and walk away happy. You wont loose enough dps for it to be noticeable really, much less game breaking and a little extra acc is never a bad thing.
