iLvl 90 Vintage Gear

Dear Devs

Could you please make it easier to attain this specific gear please?
After doing 50million dungeons and not seeing any token drop because of mainly the ridicules amount of crafting items from the bosses - is just utter annoyance!

Why cant we just buy these with soldiery, or Allied Seals like we could before?

Even though I understand your frustration, there is actually some us who enjoy to see job specific equipments handed in a way like this one, at least it give you a an additional reason to run dungeons.

In my opinion, the game, as it is, is already waaaay to much easier when it come to gears handed by token, it's basically sub every week to win your stuffs.

In another note, those said gears are meant for a pure vanity purpose and the game proved to actually make vanity quest challenging for some reasons

no one enjoys praying to RNGesus, this game is already heavily flooded with it.
you do the dungeons, earn your soldiery (or allied seals with hunts) and spend it getting the gear.

This is how they have always handled the obsolete ilvl tome gear and frankly, I'm happy that it's token drops for exchange instead of just item drops because that's even more ridiculous. If you want to get Darklight or Divine gear you have to sift through the chance of getting Crafting drops AND getting drops for every class BUT yours. I think that that token exchange is a much better system.

From doing just daily expert roulette I could guess (if I lotted on them all) that except for pants and body I would have gotten hands/feet/belt/head about 6 or 7 times over now, I picked up one body but never seem to be able to get the pants. The system with tokens is definitely much better and would allow any future classes to be geared with their "iconic" level 90 gear by storing the ancient pieces. In fact ever since Roulette I can easily say I have picked up the full set of gear from every set of instances for MNK. Then I just give it to the grand company for company seals when I'm bored of it clogging my inventory. The only thing I would like to see is perhaps have a guaranteed armour piece and a lesser chance of material item drops as an extra item in the chest in the older dungeons to allow newcomers to gear up quicker.

Yes please make my desynthesis easier.

Yeah... in a dungeon where there's a high probability you're already at gear level 90 or higher. Seems a bit redundant to add level 90 gear to an 'expert' roulette when it used to be obtainable through earlier levels dungeons.

Then again, logical progression never did go hand-in-hand with FFXIV.

The accessories are still random drops though. Only the armors are tokens.

That said... I love my dalamud popotoes and canard breasts.

They made the change due to desynthesis.
