Trial to Retail Questions (Steam)

I know these questions get asked a million times so I am sorry

1. I have 10 trial days left, if I buy retail now and activate do I have 40 days?
2. If I did steam trial and buy retail from GreenManGaming and activate on steam do I keep trial progress? GMG give Steam codes for like all games so it should right?
3. When do I put in the recruit a friend code my friend gave me?
4. What is the best way to go about trying to get the recruit a friend reward? Buy a game card and put time on right away?

I know these questions get annoying so I appreciate the help!

Update: So I found out the hard way that the GMG code is not a Steam Version.. So what are my options? Spend another $25 to keep my progress or make a new account and do the trial over again through the Site?

1) No.
2) Since trial and character is tied to your SE account, not Steam, so buying from any retailer is fine and you won't lose progress. Only way to get Steam version is on Steam

4) If you want the bonuses right away, the only way is to purchase the prepaid timecards and add the codes. Since the 30 days sub you get with the purchase of the game does not count to RAF bonuses, you would need 2x 60 day codes for whoever referred you to get all rewards (Circlet, Pendulum, Mount) or just 1 for your bonuses (Circlet).
