I love this game, but I despise the loot system that is provided for the end game raiders. We have the opportunity to kill each boss once a week and the loot that drops is totally RNG. We have seen 7 Healing Boots drop from T10, 6 pieces of Monk gear with no one maining Monk in our static and multiple other repeat drops. Personally I have... in 12 weeks of clearing at least T10 and T11, 6 weeks of clearing T12... I have gotten 2 drops. That's 2 drops in 3 months, this loot system is not making we want to come back to farm until I get my drops it is actually making me want to stop playing. (Not counting carbon upgrades which are guaranteed drops)
I understand that it is being looked into, but if it stays the same in 3.0, I for one will not be playing this game any longer.

Umm .. welcome to MMO's?
FF14, you do one 8 man instance, for a couple pieces of loot.
Everquest (as the example I'm most familiar with) you raid a 54 man instance for 3-5 pieces of loot.
Both games use a week-long lockout, though in EQ's case, that is actually 5.5 days starting from the moment you requested the raid instance. So no "last minute clear" on Monday only to go right back in on Tuesday.
Honestly though, if the lockout bothers you so much, end-game content (I refuse to call single group content "raid" - "raid" does not mean difficulty of the event so much as number of people required for it, something that SE in particular, and as a result, FF14 players, cannot seem to grasp) and raids in MMO's may not be your thing. -

I dont get these restrictions. This is paid mmo, and you pay monthly and still you are restricted on how many items you can get and how many dungeons you can go weekly? Its kinda weird.
