Question about Time Cards and account types.

I stay on an Entry account because it's cheaper monthly and I don't plan on making more than one character for everything, for now anyways. Since Time Cards are the only reliable payment I have now, they will work for me right?
They just add a flat 60 days to an account, but I saw earlier that someone said that they wouldn't work with entry accounts. Shouldn't the Time Card just override everything? Regardless of what my account type is, it should just automatically add 60 days to my chosen character right?

time cards can only work with standard accounts.

So how does this work? I select and pay for the Standard Account, then I put in the Time Card? This makes no sense.

The time card gives you 60 days of standard game time so doesn't work with entry level even if it did you would just be cheating yourself by choosing that option.

Ohhh alright, so it would be like I've always been using a Standard Account then, correct? Regardless of if I had been using entry beforehand?

I just recently added a 60 day time card without having any sort of subscription, and it says I can put in another code if I have one.

Go on Mogstation and check if the "add Game Time Card" option is there, under the "account status" once you log in.

It did, how I understand that is that you can stack a finite amount of game time on one account at a time, incase you for whatever reason want to. I was just more concerned with the application of the time card itself.

Game Time Cards just add the listed amount of days to the current amount on your account. Also, You can only have a total of 180 days on an account at once, from both a subscription and any cards.
