Please put in an option to turn off battle music.
I know I can turn off all music, but for the most part I enjoy the zone music, but having the zone music interrupted every 3 seconds by battle music when traveling on a chocobo by entering a FATE zone or simply getting aggro by random monster is horrible, the music changing from soft to hard (battle music, Fate music) every few seconds during zone travel is very disturbing.
A simple Battle music Off option would make my day.

People have been asking for this for some time, but I get the feeling they're arbitrarily opinionated about it. "Battle themes are how FF rolls!"
It's fine in a normal game where like, you know, gameplay is going to end eventually and battles do not occur as often as every 10 seconds--not so when the game is specifically designed to produce very high (ideally infinite) play time and when battles actually do occur with that frequency.
It'd be an everyone wins situation to give people who don't want to hear it a reasonable option not to--except for devs who are adamant about battle themes defining FF.
I frankly don't think anything kills a game's atmosphere faster than generic music, which is a role battle themes are definitely filling.
