working as intended - make sure your group is ready when you queue
Unfortunately, I don't quite think that'll do..let's say you join a PF to farm Shiva Ex, or DD speedruns, or anything for the zodiac. Que, get through the place once, no drop, reque, healer withraws, then leaves, get replacement, someone else withdraws, you get a replacement, whatever happens.
All in all, it's entirely possible to just be a member in a group, not even the member withdrawing or the member queing for duty, and end up penalized after Confirming everytime.
Ready check, please use it.
When I'm on the loading screen between DD runs, of a multiple-run group, at the moment our faster-loading PF leader ques us for the previously agreed on, planned 2nd run?
It's on him then, get on his case. If he can't wait until everybody loads, it's his fault, PERIOD, because the current system prevents queue spamming/trolling, which is infinitely more annoying than just losing out on 30 minutes in the DF because a party leader was a fool.
This is a non issue. Farm parties don't go in with less than a full group. You don't get the penalty if you are a full group, exceptions being 24 man content.
So where are you pulling this 'they left my farm, now I'm locked out' garbage from? Certainly not happened to you. Or anybody.
That can be a pain if people crash after the ready check or run off but don't tell anyone, i would prefer they get rid of it affecting the full party and change it to the person that didn't click
Now that's just insulting. What if the group went in incomplete in a place like Wanderer's, that you'd speedrun anyhow, or just to farm light on a bonus window without having the time to wait for a full group? It wasn't a non-issue for all the members of the group who were ready every time.
using ready check is fine and all. but what is to stop a troll from hitting ready and not hitting Commence? when someone hits Withdraw or fails to respond, the game doesn't tell us who the culprit is. all-in-all constantly telling people to use ready check is a bit moot.
two changes i feel would help mitigate the issue...
1.) make it so that any party that is not considered as Light or Full has to use Ready Check before attempting to queue for an instance. it should mandatory, unless your party is Light or Full.
2.) make it so we can see who has clicked Withdraw or failed to respond.
