Wolves' Den
I loved the Wolves' Den. Arena style PvP is something I loved doing in all MMOs.
Why does the system intentionally keep me from participating in it?
Today I put together a group of 4 players to queue. I was told we'd need 8 to coordinate both parties so the queue would pop. We found 8 players. We'd need to average the PvP ranks between parties. We averaged to a difference of 3. Now we'd need to average a difference of 2 or less ranks. Swapped players, and averaged a difference of 1 pvp rank. Now a rank 45 would not be allowed to play in a match against a rank 17, even in iLvL synced play.
After an hour, I gave up. With 8 players wanting to play together, WHY can't we? The rank matching system was put in to decrease the barrier to entry for new players. Instead, it's an impassable barrier to entry for most players.
Idea:
For iLvl synced Den matches, remove the rank matching component.

Did you queue for a specific language? If you queue for say, only French while they do as well, queues are near instant.
The thing is, the Developers added a rank-matchmaking system because of the rampant win traders for free pvp gear and rank. Granted, people still can win trade, but it takes much more effort so people are less interested in exploiting it.
Back in the end of 2.2, the Party Finder was FULL of Wolves Den trading for pvp rank, it was really gross to see, and seeing it gone brings more spirit back to pvping.

I would agree with you only if it felt like WD matches were happening regularly. I don't like win trading. But I like being able to play a match at all more than I dislike win trading, if that makes sense. And yeah, we tried queuing in German.

Hopefully PVP roulette will resurrect Wolves den!

You must have done something wrong. Most likely both group leaders didnt queue with same language options. In case the average rank on both teams does only have a difference of around 1-5 you will always have an instant pop. Queues getting longer in case you have differences of 10-15+
