2 Minutes of Inactivity (Frontlines)

So here's my issue. I believe that 2 minutes of inactivity in frontlines is a bit too harsh. Especially if there is a 30 minute penalty for being ejected because of it.

I saw my duty come up, I clicked accept, and went to get a drink since there's a 2 minute wait time before the gate even opens. I came back, sat down and saw the crowd at the gate. Before I could reach my mouse and keyboard, I was booted for being idle for 2 minutes. The gates hadn't even opened yet...

So now I'm out for 30 minutes, becuase I was idle before the gates even opened...

I 100% understand why this rule is in place, and appreciate the purpose of it. But to enact this rule before the gates even open is a bit harsh, especially if it has a 30 minute penalty tied to it.

I can't post in the "Not a bug" forums, otherwise I'd put this in there, but is there anything SE could possibly do to take this into consideration? Maybe not start the timer until the gate opens? They don't have to make the duration longer, maybe wait until the gate opens?

Or if they're concerned about AFK ppl from the start, make it 150 seconds, so 30 seconds after the gates open, if you haven't moved, you're out. I know it's complicated as that may or may not give the other factions 30-?? seconds of an advantage while a replacement player comes, but it just seems so out there that the notion of afk'ing for 120 seconds to WC/drink/whatever is so harshly punished.
