Make 6 men content
Englis is not my main, so apologies for the mistakes...
Regarding this post, i wish SE make the endgame content 6 men rather then 8.
The obvious reason is the long queue DPS have to wait. 1 tank, 1 healer and 4 DPS.. That will make the queue A LOT shorter for DPS. I hear you... 1 tank means no share tanking. How about making some DPS OT ? Could be melee using a skill that allow them to boost their evasion or DEF. To be fair, having to use this special skill would lower their offensive radically.
1 healer would mean making other jobs more supportive on the heals. I would create a song from BRD that could give a skill comparable to medica. I would also make BLM have raise.
The other reason why i wish a 6 men content is that i usually can gather 5-6 men with ease for a static or in party finder.. but it seems getting the last 2 spot is hardest and makes it long.
What do you guys think ?

I think it would require alot of work.
Redesign enemies. Redesign classes. Redesign dungeons and raids, encounters etc.
Alot of work which is not really needed.
People could learn to Tank/Heal themselves. But I think alot of people are too afraid to Tank/Heal, because if you fail and the group wipe you are to blame.

what about duo's? Starting to make me think of DCUO. its not a bad suggestion but I fear with so many match types it could make it harder to get a party going. I already spend 30 mins alone on duty roulette. Of Course rewarding players to participate in these more frequently might be nice besides only 1 per day for the roulette.

IT will require some work, sure, but i wouln't redesign everything that is on atm.. just the next patches. As for Duos... not sure how this would work. I mean.. you must need a healer and a tank... then a DPS.. so a troi, maybe... but then again, we do have 4 men content... and for more important stuff, i would see a 6 men, not a less men events. But i just feel 6 men is what we need to solve the issues i named.

You know in the original XIV back in 1.X they had the dungeons with 4+ people parties? But it was kind of really easy to clear stuff/kill stuff back then

It shouldn't be 6. It should be 5. That is the optimal party size to fit DPS/healer/tank ratio numbers.
