Glam shop and show

Ok, so I've been mulling around an idea that I think would make a lot of people happy as far as Glam and older items goes. We all have seen how retarded it is on the Market Board, that you have to pay 2-6m for a level 1 bathing suit top. Or those cute pair of shoes you've been wanting to get. The only point of these items is Glam. There's people that are stuck doing dungeons over, and over, and over, just to try and loot a single item. Then there are people that are constantly suggesting items for the game to use as Glam. Well I've come up with an idea that could make everyone happy.

Start a post that allows players to submit their suggestions for Glam clothing. Then take a handful of those ideas, or make the posting limited, and then....

Twice a year, hold a fashion show event. Gridania would be a great place to do so. Since they have a nice big stage area. Have the venders on the out side of the area selling these items. SE can put their new Glam items up for sale at those venders like they did with the wedding stuff.

Then implement the players clothing ideas into the show and allow people to vote on the new gear. This way people could see the ideas, and how they would look on their character. At the end of the event the winners items (Maybe 5 or 6 new items in total, per event.) would be placed into the game as a permanent item to be sold at these venders. The winners would not need to receive anything special. I think the idea of having their clothing idea used is reward enough.

As for the old Dungeon gear. Give away a token for a player voting in the event. They could then trade this token to a NPC and get 1 dungeon item they've been dying to get for free. (But make it to where the person must have that class/job leveled to the gears level to obtain it.)

Yes, do place a restriction onto the ability to buy these items, and to vote. Maybe something to where you must have completed the Glam quest. This would help with keeping the votes to a fair ratio so that players don't make and delete 50 characters just to help stuff the ballet box, as to say. And since the NPC's would be there year round all players would be able to buy the items at some point.

This way all items designed for Glam, are obtainable to all players. While yes crafters could craft them also at some point. They could also be obtainable for a reasonable cost. (Though having them in the master books and charging out the rear for them in my opinion is dumb.)
