No voice acting audio on cut scenes with voice acting.

I am currently getting no voice audio from cut scenes that have voiced acting.

I am selecting cut scenes from the "unending journey" book, ones I know have audio for voice, like "A simple plan" or "Ahk Afa Amphitheater" (the Shiva summoning sequence).

I am getting no voice audio.

*I have made sure all volumes including voice are at 100% volume
*I have made sure no (NO) icons are on any volume indicator (not muted)
*I have restarted the client.
*I have rebooted my system
*I have changed to other audio devices, I have tried:
2.0 plug stereo headphones.
7.1 USB surround headphones
Back panel plug 2.0 front right and left channel.
the HDMI port for my TV's audio
* the Surround tests past on my system for front, left, center, surround and bass.
* All other audio sources, Stereo and Multi-channel function, and all other in game audio is hearable.
* When I change the volume of the voice slider I hear a "giggle" sound, stating what the volume is.

I used to hear voice audio, I played on this same system up to 2.4 completed with all voice acting, but since the last update, I have not heard any voice audio at all.

The only system configuration change recently was I added was a 2nd monitor, but I am still running in SLI mode, so the 2nd monitor is disabled.

I have run out of things to try. The only remaining option is it is a bug in the client.

There seems to be confusion on the internet about voice audio since some cut scenes do not have voice. I am playing cut scenes that do from the book in the inn.

What else is there to try?
