New player D:

Hey guys, I currently downloaded FFXIV on my PS4 and have started leveling my Lane. I've gotten up to the point where I am at the Satasha dungeon and I'm having trouble finding people to get into the instance with.

I fear that I picked a server with a low population (Zalerea sp?) (NA server)
I'm also on the free trial so I can't whisper to anyone lol. I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to whisper to anyone xD
I was wondering if you guys have a server suggestion to possibly switch to where I can start a new character. My time zone is EST incase you were wondering (:

As for whispering in the game, FFXIV uses a slightly different term for whispering to other players - it's called 'tell', and the command is /tell. But I'm not sure if this function is unavailable in the free trial or not - it's definitely available in the full game in any event.

Finally, dungeons use the Duty Finder system, where it will automatically match you with other players from other servers in your server group to run that dungeon - all you have to do is open Duty Finder in the main menu, select the desired dungeon, and click 'Join'. Once it's found the required quota of players based on class role (one 'tank', one 'healer' and two DDs), it will inform you that the duty is ready and simply click 'start' to enter. :)

This can take a while though, depending on your class (tanks and healers have a slightly easier time getting into dungeons, as they're in demand), but the earlier dungeons will usually have high level players assigned to help who are using what's called 'Duty Roulette' which gives them a bonus for helping out.

To. Speed up your wait time make sure to check the join in progress box and pick all the languages.

Yes you're playing on the lowits pop server for that DS, Bc you're still a low lv and not far in to the game you can move servers or look for a guild on you're server to help you. But if you every fell like moving you're more then welcome to join my FC on Coeurl Server, It s Mid Pop server with a more active Party finder.
