Is it worth the wait?

I've been checking at all hours of the day - morning and night (even at like 4-5 in the morning)- for the last week or so, and it seems like this server is NEVER going to open up for character creation.. Is the RP community here worth all the hassle for it? I really want to try it out, but it seems like a very tough server to get into.

Yeah, it is worth it. Try following the thread on the FFxiv Roleplayer forums called 'Balmung is open!' to get an idea.

Even if you don't RP, I feel that it's very much worth playing here.
