Every 30s-1m "Receiving" drops to 0

Just started experiencing this issue this morning. Never had any problems before, always had a good, stable connection. Randomly occurred in middle of dungeon where my Receiving packets just drop out, and the game will stop responding for about 5-10 seconds, then recover, obviously causing some major issues when trying to do anything constructive.

Have tried resetting router, adjusting firewall settings, restarting PC, anything I can think of. I've tested my connection with browser, running the game with WTFast, streaming media, and other games, it doesn't seem to be my internet connection. I'm only having issues with FFXIV. I dont d/c or get 90k, just consistent lag spikes.

anyone else experiencing this? plz help @.@

have been since 2.2 or so.. have to use wtfast because SE decides to never fix this issue with their data center isp. I had someone come over from my ISP and he checked everything and found nothing on their side.

if wtfast fixes it, its not the datacenter.

sometimes i wonder what goes through peoples heads when they '1+2=10'.
