Display Issues

I just started playing FFXIV and upon entering the first in-game cutscene I noticed some green bars started fluctuating on the edges of my screen. They are normally very small and start at the bottom left and right, growing bigger if I do something like use an Ability or talk to an NPC. If I leave the game at rest they're almost unnoticeable and if I click off the game (Windows Borderless) they disappear.

I've tried relogging, no success. Restarting the game, no success. Switching to Fullscreen mode seems to make them smaller but they're still there.

I am running an AMD 7800 Series HD, latest drivers (I just checked) and have had this issue with no other similar titles such as ESO.

Ideas?

Only thing I can think of is video card, or monitor. Maybe mess with the settings?

The bars are an option for people that may have hearing issues, or some such. It's a visual cue that sounds are happening. It can be turned off via System Configuration > Accessibility Settings > Visual Alerts. Uncheck the box if you want them to go away.

Curious, it was turned on by default?

It is not supposed to be.
