35 Day inactivity policy not a good one

I was part of a free company where I was an officer and my husband the free company leader. He was unable to log in for more than the 35 days and instead of making an officer the next leader that went to the lowest member who happened to log on at just the right time. That person went on to demolish our free company housing, disband the free company, and then skipped off into the sunset with his millions of gil worth of loot to a different server. This policy needs to be changed or at the very least revised so that someone who's not an officer cannot take control of a free company and do this to another free company. People are made officers for a reason, it is because they have earned the leader's trust. Lower rank members should never be allowed to take over a guild as they have not earned the leader's trust. Please Square Enix fix this policy, you will lose subs if this remains in place the way it is now.

I wholeheartedly agree though that this should be fixed. It seriously just defaulted to the lowest ranked member? Or had none of the other officers been on in awhile either?

And ya, SE also allowing people to do name changes and server transfer for "reborn" purposes. Nice work SE

Abosolutely support this!
Previously SE just implemented this 35day policy badly to resolved ppl in FC with missing leaders,
I really hope SE review the policy and improve it.

How did you post this in the Localization forum?

If it made a random person the FC leader, that means your officers were inactive too. >.>
