Is this server for Hardcore Raiders, for WoW Veteran to feel at home?

I am considering of transfering. I am a hardcore raider, which likes nothing else in an MMORPG. I heard transfer to Gilgamesh, but I hear this is one of the other servers with massive amount of players.

If yes, I can be like "Shut up and take my money" to S.E. and transfer this instant.

Looking for "The" Raiding FC's on the server. Raiding is all I do. It's what makes my heart beat in FFXIV.

Balmung and Gilgamesh are probably the worst servers to choose for "hardcore raiding" as they are heavily RP based and if I recall correctly have some of the WORST "player-to-cleared-content" ratios in all of FFXIV.

Excalibur is probably one of the biggest raiding servers. Try there.

Gilgamesh isn't RP based and is home to several FCs with world and server firsts. Your statement only really applies to Balmung.

Gilgamesh I believe has some world somethings (Death and Taxes got World 3rd clear of T12 and T13, World 1st Ramuh, Top 1-4 on Savage SCOB). However that's all I know of for Gilgamesh but you're more likely to find higher raid content clears in Gilgamesh than in Balmung (I have not had a successful T9 farm party in PF).

I've heard Excalibur and Hyperion are pretty good?

If what you want are hardcore riders lead by a WOW veteran..
