Allow people to buy certain items before upgrading to i125 relic

What you can buy before you start the i125 part of your relic quest
4 Bombard Core - 80,000 Company Seals (20,000 each) Grand Company item shop


What you can NOT buy before starting it

4x Sacred Spring Water - 6,400 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery - Mor Dhona
1x Bronze Lake Crystal - 100,000 Gil - Junkmonger in Upper La Noscea (x26,y26)
1x Allagan Resin - 100,000 Gil - Merchant in Southern Thanalan (x15,y29)
1x Furite Sands - 100,000 Gil Merchant in Coerthas Central Highlands (x13,y16)
1x Brass Kettle - 100,000 Gil Vendor in North Shroud (x29,y19)


Now four of those items you can buy right away, while the 4x items you need for 1600 Soldiery each would take a while to save up for

A lot of this Relic upgrade stuff is already convoluted as it is, so why can we buy the Bombard Cores right away, but have to wait for the Sacred Spring Water until AFTER we start the bloody i125 quest?

It takes long enough as it is just to get the 2000 points just for the i115 relic

On the flipside dungeon rng might rape you, and at least when you are running a dungeon for the 30th time you can say to yourself " hey at least I'm getting tomes towards the sacred spring water". Similarly, you can do AV and DD on alts and gain exp. The 2 birds 1 stone helps me a lot with relic.

Me and my guildie had 2 very different relic quests tho....he needed 30 snowcloaks and 30 qarns and bad luck in other places too and got the soldiery he needed before he had all dungeon atmas, while I one shot most of the atmas but lacked about 4k soldiery and then took 2 weeks to get the soldiery cozboring.

I agree with u btw, why not let us buy early? At least if u decide u want a 2nd relic u can do animus/novus at the same time and nexus/zodiac at the same time....

I didn't realise some shop items only appear if you have a certain quest active. That is weird, does it work that way with previous steps too? I think you can shop for ink to make sphere scrolls before you have an animus weapon. Somebody saw that in the shop and asked me what it does.

you can buy alexandrites from hunt vendor. You can't buy alexandrite maps nor can you access the daily that gives a map for completing expert roulette. You can buy the material and inks too.

You can't do prework for nexus, nor zodiac, apart from having the 3 star hand ins, 4 bombard cores and I guess capping your soldiery helps too.

Hello can anyone help me please im trying to get the brass kettle for my zodiac DRG but the mender says they are not in stock? how can unlock it ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated!!!
